In the beginning, the darkness of paying for local search filled the land, until a change occurred on september 2004. 411sms was created. 411sms was a purely inspirational event that has since grown into a vast community of programmers with one goal in mind - provide data for mobile at no cost. The company was created in September of 2004 starting with only one feature, local search. We have since added more features including driving directions, weather forecast, bible verses and many others. We are especially proud our the contributions and ideas we have received from our users which has helped the service to grow continously.
